The whatabout and whatsabout apps are to help in finding what surrounds where you are, whether it be in countryside or in urban areas. you become a knowledgeable local when youre really a tourist.

Often on trips it can become disconcerting to be stopping driving and then to search the maps apps for amenities. These apps take the stress out of this, and also the frustration out of being in a strange town.

i hope this helps all of you out there have a better travelling experience.

There are over 50 choices pre programmed into the app, and if you need your own specialist
one just type it into the search once in there.
The app will display your choice centred on the last place you centre your map.

Anywhere in the world just tap the map where you want it centred and then choose again from the list for that location. you are not restricted by current position or centred on home, though home can be chosen via the bottom right button.

Maps apps and online maps can seem daunting, these take the fear factor out, and front end the maps with sensible searches you might not fathom out if you are mithered and mired in a tense days driving.

You can put your toes in the water to get a feel for maps routines and how they work.
